Nestlé announced its ambition to achieve zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Climate change is also directly linked to the problem with plastic waste. In this regard, Nestlé today officially opened the Packaging Science Institute, which should allow the company to accelerate the roll-out of functional, safe and environmentally-friendly packaging solutions and tackle the global challenge of plastic packaging waste.
