The bread increased prices in the first days of the new year 2025 are already a fact. This is because 20% VAT on bread and flour is back. "VAT is an indirect tax. It is normal for the one who will pay VAT next month to charge it now. Other costs are rising. Most bread producers work on gas, the price of gas has risen also.
